2007 has been an outstanding year both for AKD Investment Management Limited (AKDIML) and its unit holders. AKDIML has outperformed the respective benchmarks and provided a 40%+ return on the AKD opportunity Fund while AKD Income Fund gave 11.14% annualized return (since inception, launch date March 22, 2007). The strong performance is also visible through our investors trust and investments, where our Assets under Management grew from PkR2.68bn to PkR9.03bn. Job Specification

  • 1 year of work experience in sales, preferably selling of financial products and services. The candidates will be will be responsible for planning and strategizing marketing of AKDIML products and maintaining and developing relationship with key investors and other market participants.
  • Sound knowledge of financial markets including equity and fixed income markets would be an added advantage

 

Personal Investment Consultant                 No. of Openings: 100

                                                                        Locations: Karachi/ Lahore/ Islamabad

 

Job Specifications

  • 1 year of work experience in sales of financial products and services is preferable.
  • Candidates will be responsible in implementing sales strategies through providing investment advisory services to retail customers and expanding customer base with strong focus on quality and customer service.

 

 

Branch Manager                                           No. of Openings: 5

Job Specifications

·        The candidate is expected to work actively for achievement of challenging targets, providing leadership to the team working under him/ her and maintaining a close coordination with the head office.

·        The right candidate should have at least 3-4 year experience in sales and marketing in a financial institution and should have the experience of handling sales teams and meeting targets. 

·        BBA/ MBA in Marketing or Finance from a reputable university

 

 

 

Risk Management and Compliance                       No. of Openings: 1

Job Specifications

  • Fresh qualified CA or a qualified ACMA or ACCA with at least 2 years of post qualification experience in similar position. Experience of working with an Asset Management Company will definitely be preferred.
  • The person will be responsible for assessing and planning for potential strategic, operational, financial or compliance related risks in various business segments of the asset management functions of the Company.
  • In order to ensure full compliance of the organization with the applicable laws and regulations, he will also be responsible for performing timely compliance reviews and develop effective follow-up procedures to assess adequacy, effectiveness and timeliness of actions recommended by the management on reported compliance findings.
  • The person is expected to demonstrate sound analytical and credit assessment skills, coupled with good working knowledge of capital & debt markets in Pakistan.

 

Manager Accounts                                                  No. of Openings: 1

  • Required Manager Accounts for a well known Asset Management Company, suitable candidate should be partly qualified ACMA, having 4 to 5 years working experience in accounts & finance department.

  • Fresh CA or ICMA / ACCA with 2 years of relevant experience in an Audit department. Experience of working with an Asset Management Company will definitely be preferred. Candidates will be responsible for completing assigned tasks in a timely, thorough, and accurate and well- documented manner. 
  • Development of formal audit reports in the light of prevailing NBFC rules and other regulations will be the major requirement of the job.

·        The right candidate should have 2 + years of experience of as an Investment Analyst in a reputable organization.

  • 1 year experience in the relevant field is essential. Candidate should have a minimum 40 words/ minute typing speed and should be proficient in MS. Office.
  • The main responsibilities will include data feeding of forms in the required software. Candidates having mathematical background will be preferred.
